Harmonic Echo: The Delay Plugin That Knows Music Theory

While standard delays repeat the past, Harmonic Echo creates something new.

This is a generative MIDI effect that transforms simple input into evolving, musical sequences. Instead of just repeating your notes, it climbs, falls, and harmonizes through the scale of your choice—acting like a creative co-pilot in real-time.

What's new

• Update 0.3.4: Simplified installation by adding installers for all operating systems, to avoid manual copying
• Update 0.3.0: Added support for Audio Units: the macOS bundle now includes a MIDI effect AU plugin suitable for usage in eg. Logic Pro
• Update 0.2.11: Added next/previous preset buttons, locking Root and Scale parameter buttons, and improved compatibility with older operating systems
• Update 0.2.8: Improved Compatibility! We have updated Harmonic Echo to load as a Virtual Instrument (VSTi) which makes routing easier in several DAWs
  Note: The VST3 plugin will now appear in your Instruments folder, not your Effects folder.

System Requirements

• macOS:
  • macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later
  • Intel or Apple Silicon Mac
• Windows: Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
• Linux:
  • 64-bit Linux (Ubuntu 22.04+, Fedora, Debian, etc.)
  • X11 display server

Installation: A README.txt is included in the download with the simple instructions for getting started.

Instructions for setup in specific DAWs

• Ableton Live
• Logic Pro: Load Harmonic Echo FX as a MIDI FX on the same track as your audio producing (AUi / VSTi) plugin
• FL Studio
• Cubase
• Reaper: Just add Harmonic Echo on the same track as your audio producing VSTi, just earlier in the signal chain
